Bavarian Police Museum

The Bavarian Police Museum presents its collections in Turm Triva, a fortification which was built at the same time as Reduit Tilly and nowadays is a part of the popular Klenzepark.

The history of the police is still waiting to be discovered. The museum invites you to take a tour of discovery of the restless times of the Bavarian Revolution of 1918/1919 to fighting over the atomic reprocessing plant Wackersdorf in the 1980s. Topics range from police training in the Third Reich to border security in the Cold War. The exhibition offers an insider´s view into the lives of the police. It shows diverse, familiar and unfamiliar equipment, as well as surprising, personal documents.
