New Castle

The so called "Dürnitz" in the New Castle can be visited by wheelchair unsers. © Bayerisches ArmeemuseumThe amenities in the New Castle do offer full accessibility for the disabled. You find parking lots for the disabled at the Paradeplatz, from where you can reach the building through the castle courtyard (ca. 150 m). In the building you can reach all three floors barrier-free. Ramps in the inside enable the passage of steps and threshold. In the basement disabled toilet facilities are available from April 2015 on.

 
Reduit Tilly

In the Reduit Tilly, wheelchair-bound visitors can use ramps and lifts to reach all the rooms with exhibits. Toilet facilities for the disabled are available on the ground floor and 1st upper floor.
There is no parking at the Reduit Tilly.
The footpath between the New Castle and Reduit Tilly can be used, but is not recommended for wheelchair users.

 

 
Turm Triva

The exhibition in the Turm Triva is located only on the ground floor and can be visited by wheelchair-bound visitors. Toilet facilities for the disabled are available. There is no parking at the Turm Triva. The courtyard ot the Turm Triva is made of cobblestones and may therefore be difficult to cross with wheelchairs or crutches.
The footpath between the New Castle and Reduit Tilly can be used, but is not recommended for wheelchair users.
